This Fire Pit also ships by Freight company, not via UPS or FedEx, which means it comes on a pallet and is usually delivered by a semi-truck typically hauling a 53 ft trailer.  The Freight company will offload the pallet using a liftgate but is only contracted to deliver curbside.  The customer is responsible for moving to the desired location on the property. 

The customer is also responsible for thoroughly inspecting the shipment for any damages at the time of delivery.  If there are any observable damages, the customer must note on the Proof of Delivery that the Freight company driver provides for signature.  A delivery signed as received in proper condition releases the Freight company from any liability and is then assumed by the customer.
